HTC Droid DNA Announced With Most Pixel Dense Screen Ever

HTC and Verizon announced the HTC Droid DNA as their flagship phone for this holiday season and you can pre-order on Verizon right now. If it or its international version launches, HTC Droid DNA price in India will be near or above INR 40,000. The best thing about this phone is its display which has a resolution of whopping 1920 x 1080 in a 5 inch capacitive multitouch screen which is enough to make it the world’s most pixel dense display with amazing 440 ppi. Also, this amazing screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 2 For the processing, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC which is touted as world’s fastest mobile processor with 4 ARM Cortex A15 CPU cores and Adreno 320 GPU along with 2 GB of RAM. But the surprising fact is that it has meagre 16 GB internal storage with no option to expand it. This HTC flagship smartphone runs on Android 4.1.1 JellyBean with HTC Sense 4+ with improvements to camera, gallery and some other things. We can be rest assured that this phone will be upgraded to Android 4.2 JellyBean soon.

This phone has an 8 MP autofocus camera which is the same from the HTC One X with f/2.0 aperture for good low light shots and front facing 2.1 MP camera with wide angle lens so that more area can be viewed when you are either video chatting or taking vanity shots complete with self timer. Connectivity is also well stuffed up to the brim with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Micro HDMI and Micro USB port. Regular sensors such as proximity, accelerometer, gyro and compass are all present. Even with all these flagship features stuffed in the phone, it is quite slim at 9.7 mm and tapered edges similar to HTC 8X and weighing just 138 grams.
