Nokia has lived up to its promise to make Windows Phone handsets at cheaper prices so that more and more people can buy and experience the great smartphone operating system from Microsoft. Nokia Lumia 510 has been unveiled after its teaser at the Nokia’s official Facebook Page. The Nokia Lumia 510 Price in India is said to be below INR 11,000 and is very much in competition with entry-level Android smartphones. This phone has a 4 inch LCD with WVGA 800 x 480 pixels resolution and multitouch capacitive panel. It has a 5 MP camera with autofocus and dedicated camera button but misses on an LED flash. This camera can also record VGA videos at 30 fps but there is no front facing camera however. This phone has 256 MB of RAM and 4 GB of fixed internal storage without an option to upgrade it.
This phone comes with Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS and it can be upgraded to Windows Phone 7.8 Tango. It has 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS and Micro USB 2.0 as connectivity options. It comes with 7 GB of free cloud storage through Microsoft SkyDrive. This phone has a modest 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery which can run almost a day’s worth of normal usage. This phone is expected to be available before the Diwali holiday season.
