Nokia announced the recently rumored and talked about Windows Phone 8 based smartphone; Lumia 920. It brings some first-of-its-kind features to the table. The two most important features in this phone is its Pureview camera and Pureview Motion HD+ screen. The camera has a new ‘Floating Lens’ technology which is nothing but optical image stabilization which is featured in a mobile phone for the first time. The screen on this phone measures 4.55 inches diagonally its panel is an IPS LCD with refresh rates 2.5 times faster than others. This display is protected by Gorilla Glass and has a resolution of 1280 x 768 and its pixel density is dead similar to iPhone’s 326 ppi.
The processing in this phone is handled by a super fast 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960, 1GB of RAM and Adreno 225 GPU. It has 32 GB of internal storage space which is not expandable physically although you get 7 GB of free cloud storage on Microsoft’s own SkyDrive. The phone has almost all connectivity features on board with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GLONASS A-GPS. It has proximity, ambient light, compass and gyro sensors. The price of this phone is not announced as of yet but can be similar to the iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S3.
