I think Image adverts pay less than text ads.

Image ads have a lower CTR. However in my experience they do not cannibalize the clicks of other advertisements on the page and hence increase the overall earnings.

Account gets smart priced? what is that smart pricing? I didnt get that point..could you explain please?

been trying ad sense in feeds(wp doesn’t allow it and don’t want to use it between my poems) earnd about 0.17$

If you look at the third factor i.e earnings per click, you will find “topic of the post” at the number 1 position. Hence you are right. What you write about matters a lot.
I am surprised by number of good bloggers who think putting adsense on the blog is something wrong. I doubt you will have any reluctance to put a price tag on a poetry book when you publish one. Then why the reluctance to put adsense on your blog???
