BinaryDay – A little better day

I had previously written about the November earnings report of 7 bloggers. Looking at the positive response to that post, I have decided to make it a regular feature and increase the number of blogs to 15.

There are important lessons in these reports
I am not writing this post for fun or out of curiosity alone. There are important lessons, especially for the beginners. Try to see how these bloggers make money from sources other than google adsense. Some of these people earn as much as 7$ ecpm. Look at their blogs carefully. Try to learn from the way they have placed adsense blocks on their website.

Paying your hosting bill is not that difficult
I always place David’s earnings report at the top. For anyone who are using free hosts like blogger or wordpress must see how this guy manages to make more than the hosting bill and it has been less than 3 months since he started out. Awesome I say.

Think beyond Adsense
Niessuh made $137.08 in the month of December. A lion’s share came from adsense($115), however he made use of private advertising sales and affiliates as well. He made that earning with only 20k visitors. That is around 6$ ecpm. Read his December 2008 Blog Report

payu2blog is a good way 2 earn money for less popular blogs.
The next blog earned 39.96$ in december. Not very impressive, is it? Considering that he had less than 1500 pageviews, that is more than 20$ ecpm.. He made a bulk of the earning through payu2blog.

You can make money without adsense
Ironblogger just published his earning report for december 2008. He made 240$ with only 4,800 pageviews. That is more than 45$ ecpm !!!!!! and he did not use adsense at all. I intend to study his method of monetization in more detail.

There is no limit to how much you can make from your blog.
Finally clickfornick leads all the blogs with more than 6000$ from blogging alone.

The real value of a blog is its ability to generate passive income
Madhur made 600$ in December, inspite of being away on a trip for more than 3 weeks. It can never get better than this. He made bulk of the income from adsense and infolinks.

Nihar has just published his earnings report for December. He made less than 200$ from adsense inspite of having more than 1,31, 507 pageviews. That is less than 1.5$ eCPM. I was at that eCPM level a few months back. I hope Nihar will stop throwing such serious money away and will start doing adsense optimization for his blog.
