The November earning report of 7 bloggers and what we can learn from them
I find a lot of motivation from the earnings reports published by other bloggers. These reports give me a confidence that if they could, so can I. I know many other bloggers will need a dose of this motivational juice. So I went through my bookmarks, and put together this article about the earnings report of 7 bloggers for the month of November.
The blogs range from 5.95$ earning to 5,908$ earning. Apart from the motivational part, there is one very important lessons in these reports as well. It is important to use earning sources other than adsense. Especially for new blogs.
If you are thinking of starting a blog and wondering if you can recover the hosting cost or not then you must look at this report. This site with no pagerank and 1,073,892 Alexa Rank has already got 6$ earning through paid review through http://www.linkworth.com/
The next blog also has a pagerank of 0 and an alexa rank of 990,518. It made 68.3$ in November. Considering that he had only 835 pageviews in the entire month, that is damn impressive!! Again he made a huge chunk of that money from payu2blog.
At 119$ and 125$, niessuh (PR=0, alexa rank=110,912) and ironblogger (PR=2, alexa rank=169,260) were quite close to each other in total earnings. While Niessuh made almost 50% of the income from adsense, ironblogger has not made use of adsense at all. Both of them have made use of affiliates, paid advertising quite effectively.
Nihar made 457$ in November with adsense contributing close to 90% of that income. He has a pagerank of 3 and Alexa Rank of 50,119. My sense is Nihar should take leaf out of the bloggers above and try to use sources of income other than adsense. I shall not be surprised if he can double his income simply by using a wider source of income.
Next in line is the blogger who made me take interest in earnings report to start with i.e apna Madhur. Madhur made 550$ from a blog with PR of 2. My guess is he would have a bulk of that income from adsense only. Looks like we Indians do not think beyond adsense.
The topper is ofcourse clickfornick with 5,908$ in earnings!!!. Those are the numbers that drive me to slog it out at 2 in the night. Hope I will beat him soon say in 2-3 years

Hi Sita, Thanks for including me in the report. Apart from Adsense, my income is from Infolinks, Burst Network . But around 50% of it comes from adsense

In Nov, my earnings from one source were above 1500. I have not calculated complete earnings for Nov so I don’t know how much I made.

I think this whole business of paid blogging is very dangerous.
Abhisays pursued this line of business and google gave him a lot of hard time with page rank.
Its better not to run afoul of Google.
Paid links and Paid blogging is a big no no if you want to go for the long haul.
Also Sita, it would be good to know how many page views and uniques these sites are pulling. The source can also be mentioned.
I use Stat Counter and G Analytics both.
Could you do a research on Firefox Mozilla Addons for SEO and give a brief message on how to make best use of them.
Could be an interesting topic.
