Latest Pagerank update
I just noticed that a google pagerank update is in progress. Binaryday has gone down to 3 from 4. I can not compalin as I have been spending a lot of time away from the blog, on my new venture.
Good quality stuff pays off for sure. Ajay’s readerszone has gone upto a pagerank 5. Great show Ajay.
Seems like Google has become really serious about paid links. Abhishek has been penalized even further and abhisays is down to a pagerank of 0. Abhishek is out of town. It will be interesting to see what effect it has on his traffic level after this change.
Madhur’s blog is down to a pagerank of 2 as well. I am not sure why though.
Bibhuti’s adoholik is up at 3. Techbanyan and techpavan continue to be at pagerank 3. Surprisingly fastrevise continues to be at pagerank 3. (Surprising because I have effectively abandoned that site)
With so many changes, it will be interesting to study the impact of the current pagerank changes on the traffic level. I intend to contact all these guys for the same. Hope they will agree. And if you want to volunteer then please drop a comment.
Even i am bit surprised by it as the last two months have been the best so far for me in terms of traffic. My soccer blog which i haven’t updated since 3 months has a PR of 2 as well. I hope it doesn’t effect the traffic
Pleasant surprise as I myself was not aware of the move of adoholik. Must be a change in last few days.
Google’s page rank is full crap.
abhisays.com is PR 0. For last 2 months I have not written a single paid review.
My other domain 100rupees.com which simply redirects to abhisays.com has PR 3. Earlier for 100rupees.com PR was 1. Now I don’t know why Google has increased the PR of 100rupees.com and decreased the PR of abhisays.com to 0. I simply don’t care.
I was able to increase the traffic on abhisays.com even on PR drops from 4 to 2. I will continue to do so with PR 0 also.

Google PR is not a crap. It is really the coolest thing which we cannot understand clearly !! LOL. Anyways PR has got a lot of things to do with Google.
Abhi when you check your backlinks many links are your internal pages. That is because of the many links that you have on your homepage. Try to remove them. Try to get more backlinks which will help you to increase your PR.

When you check your backlinks you have many of them (roughly 70%) from abhisays.com and as the site has got a less PR and so is your PR. There are other links from SmallGuru.com which is also a PR1. So try to get backlinks from good PR pages.

That is really nice that I retained my same PR3. This is the third PR update on my blog. I first got its update when my blog was just 3 months old, and I had PR0 to PR4, then following that two constant PR3s. And coming to traffic, my blog is doing fine since two weeks. My average traffic is increased by around 50 per day. No hits from social sites and other referrals are also very less. Maximum traffic is from google which I guess is happy with me…
PR has no effect on traffic from what little bit I have seen.
Abhisays gets excellent traffic from what is apparent through Alexa.
I have seen my traffic double and tripple after falling from PR 4 to 3.
PR is good to have but does not really affects site’s business.

Your site is giving pop ups. Try avoiding putting that.

Thanks for the comment. If that is true then binaryday seems to have been hacked.
Can you please try it once more and let me know if that is true. I have not put any pop-ups on my site.
