Find lost mobile with mobile tracer

4 August 2008 2,244 views 14 Comments

The mobile phone is becoming more and more important part of our life. A loss of mobile handset means a lot more than the financial loss. You loose all your contacts, all those beautiful memories in the form of sms messages, pictures and videos. And just in case you have stored any of your private video on the mobile then you may be completely devastated on the loss of the handset.

Recently I came across an advertisement of kalyanmobilesecurity in the MyMobile magazine. Kalyanmobilesecurity claims that they can trace any mobile number from its IMEI number. To locate your lost mobile simply buy a mobiletracer card. The card is priced at Rs 249. Having purchased the card go to the website of kalyanmobilesecurity and fill in the details of your IMEI no and 5 mobile numbers to which an alert message should be sent after locating the stolen mobile phone.

The IMEI number is a unique identifier of each handset. The finder of your mobile can changethe sim, he can even remove all softwares you have stored on your mobile but he can not change this number. As soon as he uses a new sim in your mobile, the system at kalyanmobilesecurity shall trace the mobile and the number. They will then send the info to the 5 numbers chosen by you at the time of registration. Once you have the new number you can safely locate the new user through the help of the servixce provider.

Quite an impressive solution. This is going to be a great product if they can deliver on the promises. If anyone has used their service then do let me know your experience.
