SMSGupshup / Webaroo Raises Rs 40 Crore Funding
Indian websites seem to be making a lot of waves. After mKhoj SMSGupshup just got a Rs 40 Crore Funding. They sure needed that money for the servers and for the free sms messages. The fundingwill go a long way in scaling up the site as they seem to be spending more than half that amount in a year. I doubt if they can ever earn that much money with advertisements alone.
