A computer that our parents/grandparents can use ?
May 24th, 2008 by Vineet | No Comments »I am at home for past few days. For past 4 years I always thought that day by day computers are making our lives all the more easy. With all the cool new services and softwares coming up it seems as if computers will eliminate all our problems. But what we do not think is that computers themselves are becoming too complex to use.
A close analogy that I can think of is an aeroplane’s cockpit and a car’s cockpit. Sure, Aeroplanes are much more than cars but ever looked at its controls????
In 90s MS did a great job by launching Windows which actually made the computers easy to use in those days.
Can MS Surface change the things? I think it can … if only MS stops fighting with Google and gets to do what it is best at…
