Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 is available in 45 languages. Gujarati is the only indian language that is part of this list of 45 languages. Even hindi is not included in that list.

Hindi is is the third most spoken language after Chinese and English and is spoken by about 490 million people.
So it is sad that firefox is not avialable in hindi.
Why lament on Firefox when Hindi support is missing for EACH and EVERY major computing phenomenon around? Even for Ubuntu, Hindi translation was in a pathetic state as of last year! It appears that despite being a widely spoken language, Hindi-speakers are not coming forward to DEMAND hindi software support.
It seems Gujarati people and Punjabis are contributing more at global level and has a strong presence in global developers network!
