There was just too much of excitement before the first match of IPL between Knight Riders and Royal Challengers. Unfortunately the match was more boring than a five day test match 
. The only saving grace of the match was 158 off 73 balls by Brendon McCullum.
The second innings was a really sad one. The royal challengers looked lost right from the word go, loosing wickets at regular intervals. You can imagine the situation from the fact that Extras was the highest scorer of the challengers innings. Praveen Kumar was the only challenger to reach double digit score.
