Thanks to network admin team and security policies , we see lot of websites and IM Clients being banned inside most of the office networks in India.

Though we ourselves don’t want to waste our so called precious time on browsing crap stuffs in our office but i strongly feel accessing gtalk does come under fundamental right of every office goers – no matter where he works.

So here is one work around to bypass the filters and enjoy this fundamental rights..But yes its alwayz at your own risk

Steps to add a friend.

1. Go to web.numbuzz.com – register urself
2. Go to manage contact – add a contact
3. type the gmail address of your friend

Once he accepts the invitation the u r free to chat with him

Pros:

1. You can easily have a smooth and convenient chat with your buddies from their gmail/gtalk account.(there is no need for them to log into this application)

2. Its a web based tool and not that popular among network administrators.So there are less chances of this site getting banned ( but in my company even this site was banned recently)


Cons:

1. Since it is a web based tool , chat window is asynchronous.so sometime its not that enjoyable

2. Session expires very quickly if the window is kept idle.
